Rules andRegulations.
Hotel rules are management policy or agreements between the guest and the hotel. These policies are mentioned on the guest registration book which is signed by the guest at the time of check-in. In addition to this, a copy of the rules and regulations is also kept in all guest rooms for guests to read and understand the management policies. This also includes the local government policies which must be followed by the guest.
In order to make your stay as pleasant as possible, the Management requests your co-operation in observing the following as an agreement between the guest and Hotel Hospice (hereinafter called ‘Management’) under which rooms are permitted to be used by the guest(s):
Tariff
The tariff is for the room only and is exclusive of any government taxes applicable. Meals and other services are available at extra cost. To know your room tariff, please contact the Reception or Duty Manager; the guest registration book must be signed on arrival.
Settlement of bills
Bills must be settled on presentation and accounts must be cleared in cash or with credit cards before checking out; personal cheques are not accepted. Before checking out, kindly ensure recollection of your belongings. After leaving the room, no complaints of theft or loss of any articles will be entertained. You are requested to hand over your room keys at the Reception while you are away or during check-out. Any loss of key will be charged Rs. 1500/-.
Management’s lien on guest’s luggage and belongings
In the case of default in payment of dues by a guest, the management shall have a lien on their luggage and belongings, and be entitled to detain the same and to sell or auction such property at any time without reference to the guest. The net sale proceeds will be appropriated towards the amount due by the guest without prejudice to the management’s rights to adopt such further recovery proceedings as may be required.
Arrival
Standard check-in time is 1:00 PM. Early check-in is subject to availability and on a chargeable basis. Advance must be paid during check-in and when demanded.
Original government photo ID proof (Aadhar Card, Driving Licence, Passport, or Voter’s Card) of all guests is required at the time of check-in. Guests having only a local ID proof, or unmarried couples, are strictly not allowed.
To claim Input Tax Credit on invoices, please ensure that the relevant GSTIN number along with the appropriate invoicing details are communicated at the time of hotel registration or booking. The procedure set by the GST Network requires uploading invoices with GSTIN numbers prior to check-out; the management may not be able to amend GST details in invoices after check-out.
Departure
Check-out time is 11:00 AM; please inform the reception if you wish to retain your room beyond this time. An extension will be given depending on availability, and if the room is available, the normal tariff will be charged. On failure of the guest to vacate the room on expiry of the period, the management shall have the right to remove the guest and his/her belongings from the room occupied by the guest.
Laundry services
Dial 123 for laundry service. Clothes given between 7 AM and 10 AM will be returned on the same day till 10 PM. Since we outsource laundry services, we are not responsible for any damages to clothes or their colour. Kindly check clothes properly while giving and receiving; we are not responsible for any valuables left in the cloth or any losses of cloth.
Food
Outside food is strictly not allowed in rooms. Food and beverages will be served in the dining area/restaurant from our in-house kitchen.
Visitors
Guests are requested to entertain their visitors in the sitting area only. No outside visitors are allowed in the room at any time of the day or night.
Luggage storage
Subject to availability of storage space, the guest can store luggage in the luggage room, at the guest’s sole risk as to loss or damage from any cause. Luggage may not be stored for a period of over 12 hours.
Guest’s belongings
Guests are particularly requested to lock the door of their rooms when going out or going to bed. For the convenience of the guest, electronic safety lockers are provided with the duty manager to store any valuables. The Management will not in any way be responsible for any loss or damage to the guest’s belongings or any other property from either the hotel room or the locker or any other part of the hotel for any cause whatsoever, including theft or pilferage. Guests must leave the room key at the Front Office desk whenever going out of the hotel.
Prohibited items
Consumption or storing of alcohol, drugs, pan, gutka, tobacco, smoking, illegal acts, and playing cards is strictly prohibited in the hotel premises and the state of Gujarat. For smoking and chewing gutka or tobacco mava, kindly use the smoking zone outside the hotel building. Possessing any kind of weapons is also prohibited in the hotel premises. The following items are also prohibited on the hotel premises:
- Adult goods and services, including pornography and other sexually suggestive materials; escort or prostitution services.
- Alcohol, including beer, liquor, wine, or champagne (outside permitted areas).
- Body parts, including organs or other body parts.
- Bulk marketing tools, including email lists, software, or other products enabling unsolicited email messages (spam).
- Cable descramblers and black boxes intended to obtain cable and satellite signals for free.
- Child pornography, including pornographic materials involving minors.
- Copyright unlocking devices, including MOD chips or other devices designed to circumvent copyright protection.
- Copyrighted media, including unauthorized copies of books, music, movies, and other licensed or protected materials.
- Copyrighted software, including unauthorized copies of software, video games, and other licensed or protected materials.
- Counterfeit and unauthorized goods, including replicas or imitations of designer goods, fake autographs, and counterfeit stamps.
- Drugs and drug paraphernalia, including illegal drugs and drug accessories.
- Drug test circumvention aids, including cleansing shakes and urine test additives.
- Endangered species, including plants, animals, or other organisms in danger of extinction.
- Gaming/gambling, including lottery tickets, sports bets, and online gambling site memberships.
- Government IDs or documents, including fake IDs, passports, diplomas, and noble titles.
- Hacking and cracking materials enabling illegal access to software, servers, or websites.
- Illegal goods, or materials promoting illegal goods or acts.
- Miracle cures, or unsubstantiated cures and remedies marketed as quick health fixes.
- Offensive goods that defame or incite violence, intolerance, or hatred based on race, ethnicity, religion, or sex.
- Offensive goods related to crime, including crime scene photos or criminal memorabilia.
- Prescription or herbal drugs and unlicensed online pharmacy products.
- Pyrotechnic devices and hazardous materials, including fireworks and toxic or flammable substances.
- Regulated goods such as air bags, mercury batteries, chemical solvents, government uniforms, and law enforcement equipment.
- Securities, including stocks, bonds, or related financial products.
- Tobacco and cigarettes, including cigars and chewing tobacco.
- Traffic devices, including radar detectors and traffic signal changers.
- Weapons, including firearms, ammunition, knives, and other armaments.
- Wholesale currency, including discounted currencies or currency exchanges.
- Live animals.
- Multi-level marketing collection fees, matrix schemes, and work-at-home information.
- Drop-shipped merchandise.
- Collecting or remitting payments outside India towards overseas foreign exchange trading.
- Any product or service not in compliance with applicable Indian or international laws.
Parking
Car parking is solely at the owner’s risk. Do not leave any valuables in the car. Management shall not be responsible for any kind of loss, damage, theft, scratches, tyre punctures, etc.
Save water
Use water judiciously and save electricity — switch off the AC, lights, and fan when not in use.
Pets
Pets are not allowed on the hotel premises.
Hazardous goods
Bringing and/or storing raw or exposed cinema films or any other article of a combustible or hazardous nature, and/or prohibited goods, and/or goods of an objectionable nature, is prohibited. The guest shall be solely liable and responsible to the management, its other guests, invitees, visitors, agents, and servants for all loss (financial or otherwise) and damage that may be caused by such articles or as a result of the guest’s own negligence and non-observance of any instructions.
Damage to property
The guest will be held responsible for any loss or damage to the hotel property caused by themselves, their guests, or any person for whom they are responsible.
Management’s rights
It is agreed that the guest will conduct him/herself in a respectable manner and will not cause any nuisance or annoyance within the hotel premises. The Management has the right to request any guest to vacate his/her room or other areas of the hotel forthwith, without previous notice and without assigning any reason whatsoever, and the guest shall be bound to vacate when requested to do so. In case of default, the Management has the right to remove the guest’s luggage and belongings from the room occupied by him/her.
Relation between Management and guest
Nothing herein above shall constitute or create any tenancy, sub-tenancy, or any other right to interest in the hotel premises or any part or portion thereof, in favour of any guest, resident, or visitor, and the Management shall always be deemed to be in full and absolute possession of the whole of the hotel premises.
Government rules and regulations and application of laws
Guests are requested to observe, abide by, conform to, and be bound by all applicable acts, laws, and Government rules and regulations in force from time to time.
The Management reserves to itself the right to add to, or alter or amend any of the above terms, conditions, and rules, which are a part and an abstract of the Lodging Act.
